At The End Of Another Day
I am exhausted, I have been hard at work building the bamboo fence in a section of the Kitchen Garden. Phew!! it is hard work, but I had all ‘my workers’ with me, especially Mia.
She was feeling very lonely today, Ursula and Izzy have gone walkabout, so the poor dear only had me to talk to and did she talk!!
She is not called Mia Moo Cow for nothing..my ears are ringing!! I am convinced ALL our animals have worked out the acoustics on the block. They can bark, woof and moo in a certain direction and it will come back to them!!!
Not only that, but three other farms have dogs and they all talk to each other, then there is the ‘choir practice’ (or sometimes called, howling) some days it is held several times a day, and everyone is welcome, Donna and I often join in!!

Emma was a VERY naughty girl today…She chased three young sheep around the paddock at VERY high-speed..I can tell you what there was nothing wrong with her back legs then:)
She was tearing around, then at the end when she was tired, she almost leapt over one of them!! It must be all those massages and T-Touch she has been having.
We took her to visit the vet the other day and they were amazed, it’s a miracle! they said. They were so pleased at her progress, they gave her a big bag of treats!! Way to go Em!!
Just in case you are worried, she couldn’t catch them and she is NOT vicious.
Also, I am very excited, my peas and broad beans are showing their little heads above the soil, thank goodness they survived the dreadful storm we have last night, fencing and trees down and the rain, I thought we were going to need life jackets!!
But, I am not complaining, the ground has swallowed up every last bit of water, not a puddle in sight. Any way it has been a beautiful day, with a gorgeous sunset….thought you might like to see what I saw…
